Mission Statment

Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society of Henderson, NC is dedicated to fighting for the survival of impounded dogs, cats, or any adoptable pet facing euthanasia at the Vance County Animal Shelter by providing them with emergency medical care, hope, and a “Ride to Freedom” on our RCAPS van to rescues and safe havens along the Eastern Seaboard.

We are a 501c(3) Non-Profit Organization that is donor supported and volunteer strong.

Hold is up 9/14/22

Frann was brought in as a stray. She has come out of her shell and is very sweet! She gives kisses and wants to be loved!
Frann is at the Vance County shelter. We are the networking group for the shelter.

Her hold is up 9/14/22 and is in danger of being euthanized any time if the shelter is over capacity.

All adoptions are handled directly by the Vance County shelter. If you are a 501c3 rescue interested in pulling her, email us at rescue@rcaps.org
