Draco

0 out of 5

Poor Draco! We have no clue what happened to this sweet boy, as you can tell has puncture wounds all over him. His elbows and front legs are so swollen. His wounds are being cleaned and he is on medication. We walked him by kennels and he was wags or just held his head down. Draco’s hold is up on 2/4/2020 and can be killed by shelter staff after that date.

Age: 2 Years
Breed: Lab Mix
Dog Friendly: all wags at kennel doors
Gender: Male

Hold is up on: 2/4/2020

Heartworm Disclaimer

The shelter has started the heartworm positive dogs on Ivermectin to help start them on the slow kill method of heartworm treatment. Ivermectin alone does not cure heartworm and does not kill the adult heartworm. Adult heartworm will continue to damage a dog’s organs. Thorough heartworm treatment to cure a dog of the disease consists of diagnostics and a two prong approach to treatment for both the adult or immature heartworm. Veterinary care and supervision is key.
