Animal Services got a call concerning an abandoned dog tied to a car. When the officer arrived she found this little Pitty chained and padlocked to the vehicle. She was absolutely terrified and extremely thin. Merci is an unaltered female Pit mix around 2 years old. She is eating well and gaining weight. Merci does best with women. We are working on her fear of men, she doesn’t show any aggression towards them. She does well on a leash and feels comfortable sitting beside you in a chair. Merci’s hold is up on 10/10/20 and can be by EUTHANIZED by shelter after that date.
