Saving animals in need since 2011

More than 1,493 animals left the shelter and found rescue with our help this year.

Death Row

All of these animals desperately need your help. We work hard everyday with 501 c3 non profit rescues to help these animals find safety and forever homes. Apply today to become a rescue partner!

Foster

Share your home, time and affection with a shelter animal while it awaits rescue. Becoming a foster will bring much needed respite to an animal facing life in a kennel for days, weeks and sometimes months at a time.

Donate

Because you give, they have HOPE! Your donations help us to continue our mission to save animals!

Volunteer

Come spend time with the animals. Take them for a walk, give them some TLC and help out with their daily care. Every little bit makes a difference.

We Find Rescue Placement for the Animals at the Vance County Animal Shelter

The Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society is a small group of volunteers who banded together in 2011 and became dedicated to helping the homeless animals at the Vance County Animal Shelter connect to rescue groups that can help them find the loving homes they deserve.
